Paulo Sergion Custodio is an eminent transport consultant from Brazil and has worked in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He is recurrent consultant for the World Bank. He is presently a private consultant to Transit Integrated System (SITP) in Bogotá (Colombia), Integrated Transportation Planning for the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires, Transit Transportation Study for the City of Tucumán (Argentina) and is directing the Study for Operational Improvement of the BRT line one (Metropolitan) of Lima (Peru).
Paulo Sergio Custodio, holds a degree in Civil Engineer from University of São Paulo and MSc in Transportation Planning from Northwestern University, USA. He has over 40 years of experience in planning and design of urban transit systems, ranging from metro to light rail, BRT and city bus services. He was the project director of several BRT projects in Colombia, Bolivia, Tanzania, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa, Paraguay, Peru, Argentina and China. He was also Professor at Shandong University and taught a course in Tongji University in China.
